The PIXAPRO Camera Platform Bracket enables you to mount a DSLR, Mirrorless camera, Bridge Camera or Small Camcorder to a standard light stand, boom arm or other Studio Grip Accessories with a 5/8-inch (16mm) stud connection. This makes it possible to mount your camera in certain places that are not possible with a regular tripod, as light stands can typically go higher (Please ensure the stand you are using is capable of taking the weight of your camera and lens combination).
Mount You Camera More Securely
Although many light stands also feature a 1/4”-20 tripod thread, we do not recommend mounting your camera directly to it, as your camera will only be supported by a very small surface area, making it not very secure. The Camera platform bracket features a rubberised grip surface with a larger surface area, enabling it to grip your camera more securely
1/4"-20 Tripod Thread Attachment
The Pixapro Camera Platform Bracket Features a standard 1/4”-20 tripod thread. making this bracket compatible with all DSLR, Mirrorless, and Point-and-Shoot cameras. The read is connected to a tightening wheel, making securing your camera to the bracket quickly and easily.
5/8”(16mm) Stud Receivers
This bracket features two 5/8” inch stud receivers, that enables the bracket to be securely mounted to any stand or studio grip (such as a magic arm) accessory with a standard 5/8” (16mm) spigot/ stud.
